Iran director to make joint film in Iran, Italy

Iranian director Omid Niaz is to direct a film starring two Italian actors, a local media report says.

Screenplay of the Iran-Italy coproduction is currently in development, a Tuesday report said, adding the shoot for the flick will start in December.

The scenes will be captured in Italy for eight days as well as 20 days in the Iranian cities of Yazd, Kerman and Isfahan.

The film will be produced mutually by an Italian company and Iranian company in Isfahan.

The as-yet-to-be-named film has three main characters with two male leads being Italian and one female lead Iranian. Other details about the film have not been released yet.
